With the second of two picks acquired from Seattle, Aaron (aka la27) from Utah Jazz Blog and Daily Basketball takes a big stiff. Okay, I guess it's better than taking a big stiff in the lottery. Here's how he backs up his pick.
The Jazz are looking to draft juniors and seniors, and Aaron Gray provides a physical post presence at the center position. Although slow, Gray will thrive in Jerry Sloan's half-court set and possesses the post moves and passing skills to play under the Jazz system.
Hopefully, Gray makes Greg Ostertag proud.
